Murder Mystery Games That Let You Play Both Sides

Because Folklore's murder mystery games are built on social deduction game systems, players aren't simply investigators working their way through old case files looking for hidden clues. You become characters in the story - and not just on the good side either. Players might take on the role of a fearsome monster capable of taking human form. They could be henchmen aiding the monster in destroying a village or antagonists helping a crazed fan go unnoticed as they infiltrate a glitzy Hollywood party.

Perfect for Highly Interactive Murder Mystery Parties

Nobody has enough information to solve the mystery on their own. So as soon as people start interacting - the game's social dynamics, the need to bluff and form alliances create a raucous party atmosphere in no time. As nominations open and the wild accusations start flying, you'll be in fits of laughter as your friends defend themself... or don't!

Designed to Suit Many Different Playstyles

An evil team might brazenly lie and lead accusations against good players, or they might sit back and let the good team fight amongst themselves. Player's can speak publicly, or split off into groups or pairs and share their information more privately. Folklore's games cater to extroverts and introverts alike, combining strategic puzzle solving logic and social deduction gameplay for broad appeal.

Endless Replayability

As your guests embrace their hidden identities, they actively impact and create the story in real time. Meaning every play through is unique and there is no predetermined outcome! The good team could track down and bring the monster/ killer to justice in just a few rounds, or you could be locked in a titanic struggle, trying to overcome the evil team's misinformation before it's too late. Delving deeper into the various roles reveals new strategies, and leads to even more possibilities as every player plays each hidden identity slightly differently.
