Each folklore murder mystery game runs for approximately 75 minutes and no two games are the same. Running two gives players the chance to learn, get comfortable, and put new strategies to the test.

Folklore's Murder Mystery Games
Folklore murder mystery events are built on our social deduction game systems. Social deduction is a genre of game where a small group of players (normally the bad guys) know who each other are. The rest have to rely on abilities, information released over the course of the game, and intuition to figure out people's secret identities.
10-15 players per storyteller
Folklore's flagship medieval fantasy murder mystery. A social bluffing adventure where villagers and a hunting party fight back against a monster and their henchmen.
10-15 players per storyteller
A roaring 20s murder mystery. Set in the golden age of Hollywood at a lavish party that people are dying to get into, and where everyone has an incentive to lie.
10-18 players per storyteller
A Wild West themed murder mystery that rewards active game play and taking big risks. Search for gold, clash with cannibals, and survive standoffs while you hunt for outlaws.
10-20 players per storyteller
A sci-fi, space opera in which players join an evil, interstellar empire under attack by rebel fighters. This is a system built on double claims and transformations.

What to know before you book
Folklore is 18+
Our parties are adults only at this stage. Because why should kids have all the fun? Your inner child is more than welcome though! So bring along your sense of curiosity and play.
Halftime breaks
After finishing the first game, our expert storyteller will take some time to set up for the second game. This can be extended to make room for a meal with up to an hour between games.
