What's Your Murder Mystery Playstyle?
Every murder mystery has a detective, a liar and someone quietly pulling strings. Which one are you?
Answer 10 questions set across Folklore's six worlds, from a monster-stalked village to a Hollywood masquerade, and find out how you really play when the truth is at stake.
It takes about three minutes, and you don't need to have played a Folklore game before.
The Six Folklore Playstyles
The Blood Hound
You don't wait for the truth. You go get it. Bloodhounds work the room early, cross-reference timelines and ask the uncomfortable question out loud. In a Folklore game, you're the reason liars start sweating by round two.
The Puzzlemaster
You'd rather be right than be loud. Puzzlemasters quietly build the picture (who was where, what doesn't line up) and say very little until they're sure. When they finally speak, it tends to end the game.
The Puppeteer
Never the first to throw someone under the bus, just fond of being second. Puppeteers take someone else's half-formed suspicion and build a case so convincing that everyone forgets whose idea it was.

The Guardian
Everyone else is chasing the killer. You're protecting the target. Guardians keep the vulnerable, the informed and the honest alive long enough to matter, and they'll absorb suspicion to buy someone else time.
The Politician
You don't win the investigation. You win the room. Politicians listen to everyone, find the version of events the group can live with, and build the trust that decides the final vote.
The Troll
You're not the one with the headache. You're the reason everyone else has one. Trolls are agents of chaos who shoot down theories for breakfast and won't rest until nobody can be trusted, least of all themselves.
